Where have I been?

Right now I'm feeling like I have 1000 things to talk about but can't think of one now.  It's half way through April and mentally I'm already in May.  Busy, busy!!

We have had a wonderful week this week.  Dylan's family came to visit and IT HAS BEEN WONDERFUL!!  They have had a blast with Isaac and he loves spending his days at home with them.  It's been so nice to have a break from dropping off and picking up from day care.  Not to mention, bathing him, feeding him, and washing/folding his clothes.  We'll all be sad when the week is over.

I'm not going to lie, this is going to suck

It's been several weeks since I've written.  We've been busy and not busy.  The biggest change is we joined 24 Hour Fitness.  It opened last Saturday and it's gorgeous.  I realize it's just a gym but it's a Super Sport gym which means it has the indoor pool and outdoor pool.  I am so happy it's here.  It's very close to our house and now with my job I am able to go.  I love the classes and I'm awfully sore today.  Kickboxing is my #1 work out choice.  I tried Zumba but the teacher wasn't very good.  I was just expecting more and it was slow and almost like Jazzercise.  I need fast and intense to help the 60 min fly by.  I've been lifting weights again which I love too.  I miss the days where I would lift 2-3 days a week. (in high school)  The title of my blog is a quote from my kickboxing instructor.  She didn't lie but it was just what I needed.  I'm looking forward to next Thursday.

Deal pulp today!

If you've been reading my blog or know me you know Isaac LOVES his Juno baby.  I think I posted a link showing the Boom Chick song but really his favorite is "Pop".
Anyway, today's Deal pulp (a website like Groupon) is for Juno products!!!  $8 gets you $20!  I highly recommend these products.  They teach a lot with music and it's so cute.  It's also the perfect amount of sitting time for a toddler.

Also, for your enjoyment, the pop song. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I realize this is not a world wide holiday, not even one that every American celebrates but it means a lot to me. My great-grandfather crossed the pond to bring my family to America.  I'm so happy he did and even more proud of the accomplishments my Irish family has had in America.  My maiden name was suppose to be O'Beirne but because people were prejudice against the Irish my great-grandfather dropped the O' and the e so that he could get a job in NYC.  My little guy is probably less Irish than any other heritage but I hope he shares one day in the pride of having a little Irish blood in him. :)

He's saying, "cheese!"

My new coupon wallet!

A few weeks ago I purchased a coupon wallet I've been stalking on amazon.com.  I purchased it with the living social deal.  I had been looking for a better way to organize my coupons so I can easily find them.  It's been very helpful and much quicker, especially when we have more of an impulse buy, but I still have a coupon.  It was $12.99 and came with 24 tabs that have stickers like, "baby", "frozen foods".

Austin Zoo...

Today we had fun going to the Austin Zoo for Johnston's 2nd Birthday.  It was a humid day but nice.  Isaac had a ton of fun.  We actually didn't even make it to the real part of the zoo with the tigers and all the other animals.  Isaac loved feeding the goats and passed out on the drive home.  Such a fun day!

I love this one!!  They had so much chasing each other with rubber snakes.

Way more brave than this mama.

I won!!!

I am so excited, I won a $10 off code from www.couponingtodisney.com.  She was doing a drawing, I left a comment and was randomly chosen.  I absolutely love buying my diapers and wipes from amazon.com.  It is so convenient and easy.  The best way is to sign up for subscribe and save.  S&S is the option to have the item repeatedly ship either every month, 3 months or 6 mths.  When you sign up you get 30% off.  So, combining $10 off codes, S&S, choosing a box of diapers over $25 for free shipping, I normally only pay about $20 for a $40 box of diapers.  After the box of diapers arrive, you have to remember to cancel the S&S.
